CSTRANS supplies case conveyor chain families for carton routes and other handling duties, including CC600, 1400, F54, 1701 and RT-114. The range also includes HU78 for wastewater treatment and 1765 for battery and bearing applications. Pitch, width and turning construction differ by model; matching them to the route and conveyor interfaces makes a replacement or new section work as intended.

Carton route

Carry cartons through the required route

Case chains carry paperboard packs in dairy and beverage lines, where a compact turn can route around equipment. CSTRANS offers CC600 and CC600TAB at 63.5 mm pitch and 42 mm width, 1400 and 1400TAB at 82.5 mm pitch and 50 mm width, F54 at 31.57 mm pitch and 54 mm width, and 1701/1701TAB at 50 mm pitch and 53.3 mm width. Those distinct chain geometries allow a line designer to align the carrying path with the space around filling and packing equipment while maintaining support through a bend.

Turn contact

Control contact through the turn

RT-114 is a 38.1 mm pitch, 114.3 mm wide turning chain with side-mounted balls. These change contact between the chain and its curve guide, making the guide profile part of the running arrangement. H1723TAB offers a different sloped, left/right-piece construction with separable upper and lower parts. Its orientation and assembly matter when matching a replacement to the existing track. CSTRANS can match the model-specific construction to the route without treating these two forms as substitutes.

Chain path

Keep drive, guide and transfer in one chain path

CSTRANS supplies plain and TAB forms in the CC600, 1400 and 1701 groups. A TAB form changes how the chain is retained through a curve; pitch controls sprocket engagement, while width sets the space the chain occupies in its track. These are connected interfaces: a chain that follows a bend must still engage the drive and carry the pack onto the receiving section. CSTRANS can match the exact chain form to those adjoining parts when a line is built or a worn chain is replaced.

Application / Line Context

On a carton line, the chain route can pass around equipment, but the turn must lead into the next straight run without an abrupt loss of pack support. Side-mounted balls on RT-114 change curve contact, so the guide and bend geometry affect chain tracking around the corner. A TAB chain needs a matching retaining path through that bend. At the exit, the supported product footprint, transfer gap and receiving conveyor height influence how the pack crosses to the next section. Route, guide and handoff therefore have to work together for the particular carton and chain model.

Send CSTRANS the chain model or a clear part photo, pitch, width, route drawing and the mating sprocket or guide details. We can help match the case conveyor chain family to the turn, drive and transfer interface.
