1400TAB Multiflex Chain
1400TAB is the tabbed form of the 1400 case-chain family. The lower projections engage the track while the articulated links carry the product through the conveyor route.

Track Retention Below the Carrying Surface
The lower tabs distinguish 1400TAB from a plain case chain. A matching track engages those tabs to guide the chain through the route while leaving clearance for its joints to turn.
The carrying surface remains narrow. A case spanning several lanes needs support under its ribs or feet, regardless of how the chain itself is retained. Check the case support and the lower tab engagement as separate parts of the design.

Specifications
| Parameter | Specification |
|---|---|
| Plate width | Specification: 50 mm / 1.969 in |
| Minimum side-flex radius | Specification: 450 mm / 17.717 in |
| Reverse radius | Specification: 75 mm / 2.953 in |
| Listed working load | Specification: 6,400 N / 1,439 lbf |
The force value describes the chain duty, not a permissible carried weight. Review the load against the route and operating conditions.
Maintain Capture Without Restricting Articulation
Check the tab width and thickness against a dimensioned track section. Provide clearance at joints in the track and through the curve so the link can rotate as intended.
Guiding a Case Chain Through a Turn
A tabbed case chain is relevant where the running lane needs a retained chain-to-track relationship. The tabs guide the chain beneath the case while the side guides control the case itself.
On a multi-lane conveyor, the case must stay supported as it rotates through the bend. Track retention does not compensate for a poorly positioned support lane under the base.
