Personal Care & Household Product Conveying

Chains, modular belts and guide components for shaped bottles, tubes and cleaning-product packs moving through filling and packaging.

Containers moving along a filling line between production stations

Match the Conveyor to the Container

An oval shampoo bottle, a tapered tube and a detergent pouch present different bases and side profiles. Filled weight and packaging stiffness also change how each product behaves at a transfer or in a queue.

We supply tabletop and flexible chains, modular belts, sprockets and guide hardware. Our technical support matches the conveying surface with its drive and supporting components.

Container Support, Queues and Chemical Exposure

Shaped Bottles and Carrier Pucks

A tapered tube or narrow-based bottle may need a carrier puck to remain upright. The conveyor then supports and guides the puck rather than the container itself.

Use the puck’s base dimensions and guide contact height to specify chain width and guide clearance. At bends, check the complete container and carrier envelope, including overhangs.

Accumulation and Format Changes

When filling or packing stops, sliding contact with a moving chain creates pressure within the queue. Lightweight bottles and flexible packs react differently to this pressure.

Container-base friction and guide contact affect handling. For a format change, check guide adjustment against the smallest and largest packs, including protruding spray heads or handles.

Spills and Cleaning Chemicals

Detergent, bleach or cosmetic ingredients may reach components through leakage or spills. A sealed container’s contents alone do not define the conveyor’s chemical exposure.

Specify the substances that contact the chain, belt, pins and guides. Material selection must account for chemical concentration, temperature and exposure time, including the cleaning cycle.

Guide-rail brackets and clamps with mounting profiles
Guide-rail brackets and clamps set the contact height for each container format.

Container and Component Details

Provide container or puck drawings, empty and filled weights, line speed and the accumulation arrangement. Include photographs of any tipping, scuffing or sticking at transfers.

For components, state the chain or belt series, width and material. Sprocket requests need tooth count, bore and keyway; guide replacements need the profile and mounting dimensions.

Source Parts for Your Packaging Line

Send the component references and quantities for replacement orders. For new sections or format changes, include the container range so we can specify the related parts together.
