1060 Heavy Duty Side Flexing Chain
The 1060 carries containers on solid POM top plates through a curved conveyor lane. Stainless steel pins connect the links at a 25.4 mm pitch.
- Pitch
- 25.4 mm / 1 in
- Minimum Side-Flex Radius
- 500 mm / 19.69 in
- Plate Material
- POM
The horizontal curve and reverse bend have separate radius requirements. Check both against the carrying track and return arrangement.

A Solid Carrying Face Through the Bend
The 1060 provides a closed plate face with joints between successive links. The broad contact surface supports the container while the joints allow side flexing. Underneath, the link profile determines how the chain sits on the supporting track.
Its listed working load is 1,890 N at 21 °C. This is chain force, rather than a payload in kilograms. The conveyed load and resistance through the curve require a separate chain-pull assessment.

Confirm the plate width against the order and track drawing. The load value retains its stated temperature condition.
Matching Chain Sprockets
Machined drive sprockets for the 1050/1060 family are listed in 11- and 16-tooth versions. Their dimensions and bore options are presented together for comparison.
Dimensions & Fit
Measure the top plate and compare the underside seating surfaces with the installed support. A similar carrying width does not establish identical track fit.
Keep Base Support Around a Conveyor Corner
Bottle and can lanes often turn to connect equipment placed on different axes. The solid 1060 plates carry the container base through that change in direction. Guides set the lane width and the height of contact with the container body.
Where containers pause at downstream equipment, accumulation changes resistance at the chain surface. Review the stopping pattern with speed and load when assessing the chain for a curved section.
