2542C Plastic Modular Belt
CSTRANS supplies the 2542C plastic modular belt with a closed top and positioning features beneath the modules. The carrying face supports the product while the underside geometry works with the conveyor's guide arrangement.

- Closed flat top
- Pin Diameter
- 5 mm
- Belt Mass
- 7 kg/m²
Leave Space for the Positioning Profile
Compare the underside features with the support bed, guides and sprockets along the entire belt route.
Combine Product Support With Underside Positioning
The 2542C has a closed face above the module body. Beneath that face, positioning features need to engage or clear the conveyor's guide arrangement. Those features distinguish the fit from a plain flat-top belt.
Compare the complete underside geometry when identifying a replacement. The position and shape of the features matter alongside finished width. Matching the carrying surface alone leaves a key part of the fit unchecked.

N is a positive integer; n is a nonnegative integer. Confirm the finished width and underside profile against the installed arrangement.
Trace the Positioning Features Through the Line
Check guide engagement along the carrying run and clearance around the sprockets. Show crossmembers and return supports that could contact the projecting features.
Carry Products on a Guided Belt Path
The closed top supports packages or containers while the underside features form part of the belt-positioning arrangement. A matching guide layout is essential to how that configuration operates.
At loading and discharge, the product still needs appropriate support and side guidance for its own shape. Belt positioning and product positioning are separate checks; the underside features do not automatically center every conveyed item.

Match Your 2542C Guide Arrangement
Send width, assembled length and quantity with an underside photograph or cross-section. Include guide positions, sprocket reference and return-support layout for configuration review.
