70 Machined Flexible Chain Sprocket
CSTRANS supplies 70 machined flexible chain sprockets in six tooth counts. The range combines PA or PP wheel options with two bore ranges for different shaft and conveyor-end arrangements.
- Tooth Counts
- 8 / 9 / 10 / 11 / 13 / 15
- Bore Ranges
- 20–30 or 20–40 mm
- Materials
- PA / PP
The bore range increases to 20–40 mm for the 11-, 13- and 15-tooth wheels. Compare shaft requirements with the selected tooth count.
Choose the Wheel Around the Chain Engagement
The machined tooth profile transfers shaft rotation into chain travel. Tooth count changes the pitch diameter, so the selected wheel also changes the chain path around the end of the conveyor.
The table separates each model rather than treating the 70 family as one wheel size. That makes the finished bore and available end space part of the same part selection.

Allow for the Full End Assembly
Compare the selected outside diameter with the end housing, guards and chain approach to the wear strips. Keep the wheel centerline aligned with the chain track.
Round and square bore options are listed. For a keyed round shaft, include the keyway and retention details on the shaft drawing. Confirm hub width and axial location for the ordered wheel; the family illustration does not define every size.
Drive Engagement at the Conveyor Return
The sprocket carries the chain around the driven end and back toward the return support. Its tooth profile and position determine how each link enters and leaves engagement.
In a replacement assembly, retain the required chain geometry while reviewing the chosen wheel diameter. A tooth-count change can affect surrounding clearances even when the shaft remains in place.
