83T Flexible Chain with Rubber Strips
83T adds narrow TPU contact strips across the POM links. The strips concentrate contact along raised bands while the linked body follows the conveyor route.

Place the Product Base Across the Strips
Check that the smallest product bridges the contact bands and stays level at the transfer.

Localized Contact Above the Plate
The TPU strip presents a different contact material to the product while leaving much of the POM plate exposed. Product-base shape determines whether its weight rests mainly on the strips or also contacts the surrounding plate.
Strip spacing also changes through articulation. A product that is stable on a straight run needs checking at a curve or elevation transition, where adjacent contact bands change position relative to one another.

Review these values for the assembled duty. Tensile force does not specify carried product weight or available traction. Speeds above 30 m/min and repeated starts or stops require application review.
Check Contact Height at the Handoff
Compare the strip-top height with the receiving surface. A step at discharge can put the product base onto an edge before it reaches full support.
Confirm the finished width and link pitch from the dimensioned chain drawing. Check the actual product on the strip pattern under the expected dry or wet conditions; an attachment material alone does not define an incline limit.
Controlled Contact on Short Conveyor Links
A strip surface is an option where a product needs frictional contact above a plain plate during movement between machines. It requires a base wide enough to bridge the bands.
At an incline or controlled stop, the product's surface condition changes the available grip. Check for sliding, rocking and release with the actual product rather than selecting from the chain's tensile figure.

Review an 83T Strip Surface
Send the product-base drawing, chain length and quantity. Include conveyor slope, operating speed and surface conditions so CSTRANS can review the contact arrangement.
