822 PRRS Roller Top Chain

822 PRRS supports packaged products on POM roller rows fitted above a straight-running chain. Choose the width against the product's actual contact footprint and the installed support track.

Matching plate width alone does not establish fit with the existing drive and track.

A Rolling Surface for a Straight Product Lane

The top rollers separate the product contact from the movement of the chain beneath it. This is useful when a pack pauses while the conveyor keeps running, provided its base rests on enough rollers.

822 PRRS has the same nominal plate-width choices across three sizes. The shape and depth beneath the rollers still matter when replacing a chain: track support, sprocket engagement and carrying height need comparison with the actual assembly.

Keep the Pack Level Through the Handoff

Measure the smallest product base against the roller span. A recessed base or flexible wrapping can contact the roller pattern unevenly.

Check the reverse bend against the return route and compare roller-top height at entry and discharge. Avoid sizing the transfer from the plate surface beneath the rollers.

Buffering Between Packaging Operations

A queue ahead of a wrapping or downstream handling station places products in repeated stop-and-release cycles. The roller surface permits relative movement beneath a stopped pack.

Guide pressure and pack stiffness affect how that queue behaves. A flexible package may sag between contact points, so checking the actual base on the roller pattern is part of evaluating the accumulation section.
