Set the Support Height Through the Thread
The threaded stem provides the adjustment between the conveyor support and the base. The base spreads the floor contact beneath it. A locknut secures the chosen setting against the receiving support when the assembly is installed.
The SJ-201 reference identifies the fixed-foot construction. Compare the base connection with the existing foot when replacing it. A similar external shape does not establish the same joint movement or the same rated load.

Allow for Thread Engagement and Locking
Establish the receiving thread, required installed height and usable engagement. Check the stem projection below the support and the space for a wrench at the locknut. The listed stem length is not the usable adjustment travel.
Compare the base footprint with the floor contact area and any mounting constraint. Identify the load per foot and the condition of the floor before selecting a base and stem combination.
Bring Conveyor Sections to a Common Height
Leveling feet are used beneath the frame supports when setting the conveyor's carrying level. At a connection between sections, adjustment can bring the adjoining frames to the intended height for the handoff.
Several feet share the frame load. Check their seating and adjustment together, especially where the floor is uneven. A final height setting should leave adequate engagement in each receiving thread.
