W28 Conveyor Wear Strip
W28 has an open circular cross-section that wraps around part of a round support. Its curved outer surface provides the contact profile, while the inner curve establishes the mating fit.

Check the Inner Curve and Opening
Compare the support diameter and the direction of the open side with the intended running contact.
Place a Curved Wear Surface Around a Round Support
The W28 section surrounds most of a circle and leaves an opening on one side. Both the inner curve and the opening affect how it can sit on the supporting member. The outer curve determines the shape presented to the moving component.
Show the installed orientation when comparing a replacement. Turning the opening toward the contact area would change the running surface, so its direction needs to remain clear throughout the support route.

Compare the Round Member and Retention
Measure an unworn profile and the round support separately. Check the opening, wall section and means of preventing unwanted movement. Agree the installation method rather than assuming a snap-on fit from the outline.
Curved Contact Along a Round-Member Route
This profile can be considered where a conveyor guide or support needs a curved contact surface around a round member. The relationship between the open side and the moving component is central to the layout.
At a connection between support members, inspect the alignment of the outer surfaces. A discontinuity can interrupt the intended contact path even if each individual profile fits its support.

Check W28 Against Your Round Support
Send the support diameter, oriented section and required lengths and quantity. Include the contact direction and proposed retention arrangement.
