Check the Rib Contact Before the Transfer
A product rests on the rib tops. Its base must bridge the spaces between ribs and remain supported as it leaves the belt.

Lift the Contact Surface Above the Grid
Raised ribs provide the product contact points on 2720C. The grid below leaves a passage for liquid or air while the ribs carry the product base. This geometry makes base shape and transfer alignment central to selection.
A ribbed discharge can be assessed with a corresponding transfer arrangement, but the receiving fingers must suit the actual rib spacing. A nominal belt width or series reference alone cannot establish that clearance.

N and n are integer assembly increments. Agree the finished width after allowing for material shrinkage.
Align Support With the Raised Profile
Check product contact across several ribs, particularly for narrow container feet. At a finger transfer, compare finger position and clearance with the rib drawing through the full belt movement.
Carry Containers Above a Draining Grid
Where containers move through a wet section, liquid can pass between the ribs and through the grid. The product stays on the rib tops, so its base needs to remain stable on those contact lines.
At discharge, a properly reviewed finger arrangement can support the product between the ribs. Misaligned fingers can strike the belt or catch a product edge; examine that handoff using the actual receiving geometry.

Review a 2720C Ribbed-Belt Layout
Send belt width, length and quantity with the product-base dimensions and discharge drawing. Include any existing transfer fingers so their spacing can be checked against the rib pattern.
