2720E Modular Transfer Belt
2720E uses a shaped, open-grid module for conveyor transfer arrangements. The projecting profile needs to be matched to the adjoining support so products can move across the handoff.

Design the Receiving Support Around the Profile
Check where the product loses contact with the belt and first touches the receiving surface. Those two positions determine the unsupported handoff.

Shape the Belt Around the Transfer
2720E combines grid openings with a transfer-specific module outline. Product support changes as the item approaches the shaped edge. The adjoining plate or conveyor must take over that support at the correct height and position.
Its nominal width sequence starts at 170 mm and differs from the ordinary 152.4 mm-based 2720 layouts. Use the transfer drawing and finished carrying width when planning a replacement. Shared family naming alone does not establish an identical discharge interface.

N is an integer assembly increment. Confirm the finished width and selected module arrangement against the transfer layout.
Check Clearance Through the Moving Handoff
Compare the full transfer outline with the receiving support. Allow clearance for the moving extensions throughout articulation, including at the belt edges.
Pass Support From Belt to Receiving Surface
A transfer section brings two carrying surfaces close enough for the product to cross between them. With 2720E, the module outline becomes part of that transition. A receiving surface that is too high can catch a leading edge; one too low can let the product dip.
The open grid also permits drainage during travel. Support placement beneath the transfer must leave the moving profile clear while carrying the product load near the handoff.

Review Your 2720E Transfer
Send the required width, belt length and quantity with a side and plan view of the receiving conveyor. Include the smallest product-base dimensions and an existing module photograph if replacing a belt.
