3811 Flush Grid Modular Belt

3811 is a straight-running PP modular belt with a flush-grid top. Its linked ribs support products while the open surface allows air and liquid to pass beneath them.

Support the Base Across the Grid

The product's feet or base edges must span the ribs. Evaluate small contact points as well as the overall footprint.

PP Modules With an Open Carrying Face

3811 uses PP modules and PP connecting pins. The flush-grid face gives the product a ribbed support pattern with openings between contact areas. Those openings permit flow through the belt where the conveyor support leaves a clear path.

Width selection follows modular assembly increments. The finished width can differ from the nominal width because of material shrinkage. Agree both the carrying width and the clearance available between guides before ordering.

N and n are integer assembly increments. Confirm the finished width for the intended conveyor.

Compare the Hinge and Support Layout

Use the module drawing to check the installed sprocket engagement. Match the actual hinge form and belt reference before replacing an existing belt.

Position wear strips to support the grid without unnecessarily blocking the flow path. Check return bends from the installed layout and review the discharge gap with the smallest product base.

Carry Products Through a Draining Section

Liquid can pass through the 25% open surface as a supported product moves along a straight run. The path beneath the belt must let that liquid leave the carrying zone.

A broad container base spreads contact across several ribs. Small feet or projecting tabs may bear on fewer ribs and need closer assessment at loading and discharge. The grid percentage alone does not establish a permissible product load.
