2546 Plastic Modular Belt
The CSTRANS 2546 plastic modular belt provides a closed flat-top carrying surface. Its connected modules use 5 mm pins, with standard nominal widths in 85 mm steps.

- Flat top, 0% open area
- Width Step
- 85 mm
- Backflex Radius
- 25 mm
Agree the Width Before Assembly
Cutting the finished belt narrower is not recommended because of sprocket positioning.
Closed Product Support With a Fixed Width Decision
The 2546 face supports the product across flat module rows. The connected joints let the belt turn around the conveyor ends while the carrying bed supports it along the straight run.
Select the finished width with the sprocket arrangement in mind. Trimming a belt after assembly can affect that positioning. For replacement work, compare the module underside and installed sprocket reference before choosing the carrying width.

N is a positive integer. Confirm finished width after shrinkage and the selected belt-and-pin combination.
Locate the Underside Features and Drive
Use an underside photograph or cross-section to compare the module geometry. Show sprocket positions across the shaft and the clear width within the guides.
Carry Containers on a Closed Straight Run
The flat top can support container rims or package feet along the carrying section. A closed surface also keeps those contact points above the module body rather than over a large open grid.
For a line with stops, assess sliding contact under the held product. Width and drive positioning must remain suitable for the loading pattern, especially when products accumulate on one side of the conveyor.

Match a 2546 Belt and Drive Layout
Send the required finished width, assembled length and quantity with underside photographs and the sprocket layout. Include the product-loading pattern and any accumulation duty.
