1274B Flush Grid Modular Belt

CSTRANS supplies the 1274B flush grid modular belt with 14% open area. Its perforated carrying structure supports the product while leaving passages through the belt.

Keep the Flow Path Open

The bed beneath the grid must allow air or liquid to pass where the process requires it.

Openings Within a Flush Carrying Surface

The 1274B combines a flush product-supporting face with openings through the modules. The 14% open area gives air and liquid a route through the belt. Contact with the ribs depends on the shape of the product base.

This grid version needs its own surface check when selected in place of a flat-top belt. A broad tray bottom may span the grid, while a projecting foot can meet an opening. The return arrangement also needs review for the selected belt configuration.

Compare the Grid With Product Contact Points

Check the smallest product base against the module openings. Show any feet or runners that carry the weight, rather than using the product's outer dimensions alone.

Compare module connections and underside engagement with the drive sprocket. Review the backward bends separately from the conveyor's discharge gap and end support. Side clearance should use the finished width after shrinkage.

Let Liquid Leave the Carrying Surface

The grid can provide drainage beneath supported trays or packages on a straight conveyor section. Liquid still needs a clear route through the belt supports and into the collection area below.

For an airflow stage, check how the product covers the grid and where air reaches its underside. Open area describes the belt geometry; it does not establish a cooling rate or the support available at a transfer.
