880TAB-BO Small Radius Side Flexing Chain
The 880TAB-BO is a tabbed side-flexing chain for compact conveyor bends. Both listed widths use a 200 mm minimum side-flex radius, with POM plates forming the carrying surface.
- Minimum Side-Flex Radius
- 200 mm / 7.87 in
- Plate Widths
- 82.6 / 114.3 mm
- Pitch
- 38.1 mm / 1.5 in
A tight chain curve also turns the product body. Check the container's swept envelope and guide position around the full bend.

Fit the Chain and Product Into a Compact Turn
The BO version uses link geometry intended for a small-radius route. Its 200 mm minimum side-flex radius concerns the chain path. A tall or wide container sweeps a larger envelope above it, so the machine layout must allow room for the actual product.
The underside tabs require a suitable retaining track. The drawing distinguishes straight and flexed guide-clearance references. Compare those sections with the intended track before accepting a compact replacement layout.

Dimensions & Fit
Review the full curve, including straight entry and exit lengths. Confirm where the 200 mm radius is measured on the conveyor drawing.
Route Containers Between Closely Spaced Stations
A compact bend can connect container-processing stations where a broad turn would take too much floor space. The BO chain brings the lane around the corner while its top plates support the container.
The product still needs stable guidance. Large bases and projecting container features can approach adjacent rails or equipment as they turn. Check the complete product envelope before using the chain's small radius as a layout dimension.
