44V V-Shaped Flexible Chain
The 44V has a V-shaped carrying profile above its articulated chain joint. The recessed shape offers two sloping contact faces for a product that needs support along a narrow path.

Compare the actual product section with the V profile. Contact position depends on its diameter or base shape.

Seat the Product Between Sloping Faces
The V profile changes how the product rests on the chain. A round section can contact the sloping faces instead of balancing on a flat narrow plate. The actual contact height changes with the product's shape and size.
The underside joint lets the linked profile follow the track. Product positioning above it still needs a separate review through the turn. A recessed top alone does not secure a product against every acceleration or change in direction.

Dimensions & Fit
Supply the carried product's cross section and show where it should contact the V. Compare the chain underside with the existing beam and support.
Check the product envelope through the bend, including any rail that could contact it above the chain. Show the return arrangement so the raised profile clears surrounding structure. Measured link dimensions are needed for exact wheel matching.
Support a Round or Shaped Component
A V-shaped lane can be considered where a cylindrical or shaped component needs two lines of support beneath it. The recess helps locate the contact region as the chain moves.
At loading and discharge, the product moves between the V profile and another support. Align those contact heights and check whether the component can roll during the handoff. Guide requirements depend on the product's center of gravity and operating motion.
