44 Machined Flexible Chain Sprocket
The 44 machined flexible chain sprocket is available as the 16-tooth 1-44-T16. PA and PP options provide a choice of wheel material for a drive assembly built around the required chain and shaft.
- Tooth Count
- 16
- Bore Range
- 20–40 mm
- Materials
- PA / PP
The 1-44-T16 table gives a 122.17 mm pitch diameter and 128.5 mm outside diameter. Confirm the complete production drawing for the selected wheel.
A Defined Drive Reference for the 44 Family
The sprocket transfers drive-shaft rotation to the chain through its toothed rim. The 1-44-T16 reference fixes the tooth count, while the finished bore connects the wheel to the selected shaft.
Round and square bore options address different shaft arrangements. A round bore may also require a keyway or other torque-transmission detail; provide that detail with the shaft drawing. The bore range alone does not define the connection.

Keep Shaft Fit and Wheel Clearance Together
Use the table dimensions to review the wheel envelope around the conveyor end. Check the chain approach, surrounding guards and the transition to the wear strips.
Confirm hub width, axial location and retention from the production drawing. A family illustration helps show the general construction, but the ordered item needs its own dimensional confirmation.
Driving a Flexible-Chain Conveyor End
At the drive end, the wheel turns the chain from the supported conveying path into the return path. The chain must seat correctly through that transition.
For a replacement, compare the chain underside and existing drive layout with the required sprocket. On a new assembly, establish the wheel centerline and end clearance before fixing the surrounding structure.
