1400 Machined Case Conveyor Chain Sprocket
The 1400 machined sprocket transfers shaft rotation into a case-conveyor chain. PA6 construction and two listed tooth counts provide a starting point for matching an existing drive assembly.

Compare the Complete Wheel Profile
Use a dimensioned wheel or sample to establish tooth engagement and the available space around the drive.
Drive the Case Chain Through Tooth Engagement
The wheel's teeth engage successive chain links as the shaft rotates. Tooth shape and chain geometry determine that engagement; the bore determines how the wheel connects to the shaft.
The listed 8- and 10-tooth forms have different turning envelopes. Select the tooth count with the end-unit arrangement before defining shaft position or the chain return.

Specify the finished wheel diameters and axial dimensions on the order drawing together with the bore.
Resolve Shaft Fit and Chain Position
Show the shaft diameter, key or other torque-transfer feature, and axial retention on the drawing. Compare the tooth profile with the installed chain before selecting a replacement.
Replacing a Case-Conveyor Drive Wheel
Renewing a sprocket requires comparison with the chain that will run over it. A worn chain and a new wheel can engage differently from a matched new set.
For a new drive, the tooth count establishes how the chain turns around the shaft. Check entry, departure and return clearance before fixing the end-unit dimensions.

Specify a 1400 Machined Sprocket
Send the item reference, tooth count, shaft drawing and quantity. Include a dimensioned existing wheel or drive assembly so CSTRANS can confirm wheel geometry before manufacture or supply.
