140 Flexible Chain

The 140A carries products on intermeshing fingered plates. The POM top face moves through a bend above the central joint, giving this version a different carrying pattern from the flat 140FL plate.

Articulate Through the Fingered Plate Edges

The fingers interleave between adjacent 140A links. They allow a changing angle between plates while retaining areas of support beneath the product. The contact footprint should span enough of that pattern throughout the turn.

Below the plate, the pivot and pin arrangement determines the link's path in the track. A PA6 joint component and SUS201 pins connect the links. Check this underside directly when matching an existing chain.

Dimensions & Fit

Provide the measured link spacing and a sprocket reference. The 140A and 140FL need separate tooth-engagement checks before a replacement wheel is selected.

Compare the plate fingers with the smallest product base through the curve. Show the beam cross section and guide clearance. At a handoff, support beneath the leading edge matters as the chain turns away onto its return.

Carry Containers Along a Changing Route

A fingered flexible chain can connect container-handling stations around a turn. The base travels on the interleaving top pattern while fixed guides determine the product path.

Small feet or a narrow base can approach gaps as neighboring plates change angle. Check that interaction through the bend, then check the same product at the discharge gap. A broad outer profile does not guarantee continuous contact beneath every base.
