1060TAB Heavy Duty Side Flexing Chain
The 1060TAB combines an 83.8 mm POM carrying plate with projecting underside tabs. The tabs engage a matching guide profile as the chain follows a horizontal curve.
- Plate Width
- 83.8 mm / 3.30 in
- Pitch
- 25.4 mm / 1 in
- Minimum Side-Flex Radius
- 500 mm / 19.69 in
Check clearance around the tabs beneath the plate. The guide must retain the chain while allowing the links to articulate through the bend.

Retain the Chain Beneath the Plate
The carrying face and underside tabs perform different jobs. The top plate supports the container; the lower tabs engage the track. Replacing this chain therefore requires a cross-sectional comparison as well as a width check.
Stainless steel pins join the POM links at a 25.4 mm pitch. A listed 500 mm side-flex radius describes the horizontal bend, while the 130 mm reverse radius concerns the return path. Treat them as separate layout checks.

Working load is a chain force at the stated temperature. Assess route resistance separately from product weight.
Matching Chain Sprockets
The 1050/1060 machined drive-sprocket family is also listed with the 1060TAB chain. Compare the 11- and 16-tooth references with the chain engagement and end assembly.
Dimensions & Fit
Compare the tab profile with the retaining groove at straight sections, curve entries and exits. Check insertion and removal access when planning a chain replacement.
Carry Containers Through a Retained Curve
The tabbed arrangement suits a container lane whose guide track retains the chain beneath the carrying surface. Bottles and cans ride on the solid plates as the conveyor changes direction.
At the curve exit, the product transitions from turning motion into the next straight lane. Guide alignment and transfer height influence support at that handoff. Check the smallest base where product spacing changes near packaging equipment.
