820 Table Top Chain
The 820 is a single-hinge POM table top chain for straight conveyor lanes. Seven plate widths let you select the carrying surface around the product base and lane spacing.
- Route
- Straight running
- Pitch
- 38.1 mm / 1.5 in
- Plate Width Range
- 63.5–190.5 mm
Select a width that supports the product while preserving the required lane clearance. The 820 is a straight-running chain.

Build a Straight Carrying Lane
The 820 links solid top plates through a single hinge arrangement. The plates support the product base while the links pivot about the pins around the conveyor end. Side guides set the product lane independently of the chain's own carrying width.
Width selection also changes chain mass. The listed K250 through K750 options span 63.5 to 190.5 mm, with corresponding masses in the table. Include the selected chain's moving mass when reviewing the drive, rather than considering product weight alone.

Matching Chain Sprockets
Matching 820 drive sprockets and idler wheels are available as separate references. The complete tables distinguish machined and injection-moulded options, wheel duty and bore sizes.
Dimensions & Fit
Compare the hinge profile with the supporting track and the sprocket tooth geometry. Use the 38.1 mm pitch together with an actual chain or sprocket reference.
Carry Containers Between Straight-Line Stations
The 820 is relevant to bottle, can and packaged-product lanes where travel remains straight. A wider plate can support a larger base, while a narrow plate can fit a more closely spaced lane arrangement.
If downstream equipment stops, products may queue on the chain. Accumulation changes sliding resistance and contact between containers. Review that duty with the operating speed and conveyed load before choosing the drive arrangement.
