1520B Flush Grid Modular Belt
CSTRANS supplies the 1520B flush grid modular belt with 15.2 mm pitch and 28% open area. Its grid supports products while leaving passages for air and liquid beneath them.

Check the Grid and the Transfer Together
A base that spans the grid along the run also needs support as it crosses the discharge gap.

Open Product Support in a 15.2 mm Pitch Belt
The 1520B uses connected grid modules to carry products along a straight run. Openings occupy 28% of the carrying area. Liquid can leave through the grid, and air can reach beneath products where their bases leave a flow path.
Standard widths use 152.4 mm steps, with a nonstandard arrangement in additional 25.4 mm increments. Agree the finished dimension after material shrinkage. Check the product's feet or runners against the grid rather than selecting from overall package width alone.

Match the Grid Belt to Its End Geometry
Compare the 4.8 mm pin-joint construction and drive engagement with the installed belt. Check the clear width and guide position using the finished assembly dimension.
Move Supported Packs Through a Drainage Stage
The grid can carry a supported package while liquid passes through the belt. Support strips and collection space below must allow that drainage path to continue.
At the end of the stage, check the smallest product base as it moves onto the receiving conveyor. The carrying grid and receiving gap present different support conditions, particularly for narrow feet or short trays.

Specify a 1520B Grid Belt
Send the nominal and finished width, assembled length and quantity. Include the sprocket reference, product-base shape and operating conditions for a belt-and-pin review.
