W49 Conveyor Wear Strip
W49 is an open channel profile with a flat top, straight side walls and inward-facing lower lips. Its internal clearance and bottom opening determine how it fits around the support.

Compare the Opening Beneath the Rail
Check the support's lower edges and any obstructions inside the channel before choosing the section.
Enclose the Support Beneath a Flat Wear Face
The W49 section surrounds the top and sides of a supporting member. Its inward lower lips leave an opening along the bottom. The support must fit within that outline while allowing the running face to sit at the intended level.
Check the internal dimensions independently from the external envelope. The bottom opening and side-wall height are part of the fit, so an outside-width comparison alone is insufficient for identifying a replacement.

Check Internal Clearance Along the Whole Route
Provide an unworn section and the support drawing. Compare the internal width and depth, bottom opening and lower-lip shape. Locate any fixing heads or brackets that intrude into this space.
A Channel Wear Surface Over a Supporting Member
W49 can be considered where the conveyor support requires this channel geometry with inward-facing lips. The enclosed space below the contact face must remain clear along the installation route.
At rail connections, changes in the support outline can prevent the channel from seating. Inspect those points when replacing worn sections so the renewed contact surface follows the intended path.

Match the W49 Profile
Send the support section, an unworn strip reference, required lengths and quantity. Identify the installation direction and any joints that restrict access beneath the rail.
