W48 Conveyor Wear Strip
W48 has a flat top above an open channel with inward lower returns. The section encloses a support beneath the running face and needs a close comparison of the internal seat.

Check the Internal Seat and Lip Clearance
Compare the support width and edge shape with the inside of the profile, including both lower returns.
Seat the Running Face Over the Support
The W48 profile places a flat face over an internal channel. Its side walls and inward returns occupy space around the supporting section. Those details determine the seating fit beneath the visible surface.
The lower returns include angled features in the drawing. Compare their outline with the support edges rather than selecting by top width alone. An apparently similar channel can sit at a different height or fail to reach its intended seat.

Include the Support's Corners in the Comparison
Show the mating rail in section, including corner radii and any fasteners near its edges. Check internal width, channel depth and lower-lip engagement on an unworn strip.
Cover a Profiled Conveyor Support
W48 can provide a wear face where the underlying support accepts this returned channel section. Its internal shape matters particularly at rail joints and brackets where the support outline may change.
Check those locations during replacement. A local obstruction inside the channel can lift the upper face and create a concentrated contact point along the chain route.

Compare the W48 Channel Fit
Send an unworn section and the mating support drawing, with required lengths and quantity. Include rail-joint or bracket details that may affect seating.
