Separate Two Rail Contact Levels
The 504 places its two rail seats farther apart along the head than the compact Type A arrangement. This gives the rail pair a different vertical contact pattern on the product wall.
The head and pin form one support connection for the two rails. Set the pin position after checking which part of the pack each rail will meet. The broad gap between rails should remain clear of features that can catch on the frame.
