S3810 103 mm Radius Flush Grid Modular Belt
The 103 mm S3810 belt provides a narrow open-grid path through a curve. Its POM links use 38.1 mm pitch and leave 60% open area beneath the carried product.

- 103 mm / 4.055 in

Keep the Base Supported Within the Narrow Lane
Check the product's actual contact area and guide position. Overall product width alone does not show whether its base stays supported through the turn.
Route a Narrow Carrying Lane Through a Bend
S3810-103 combines a fixed narrow format with open side-flexing links. The grid supports the base on its members while leaving large passages for flow through the carrying strip.
The narrow format makes guide placement particularly important. A product can extend beyond the belt yet still require its contact points to remain over the supporting grid. Check that relationship through the entire turn.

Review the Contact Footprint Through the Turn
Mark the product contact points on the 103 mm carrying strip. Check guide position and overhang at entry, mid-curve and exit so the base does not move off its supporting ribs.
Use a dimensioned curve drawing to confirm the required radius. Compare underside clearance and sprocket engagement with the module drawing. Review the 20 mm backflex requirement on the return separately from the curve in plan view.
Convey Narrow-Based Products Around Equipment
A compact curved lane can carry containers or small parts between offset stations. The open grid allows drainage beneath a supported base where the process requires it.
Tall products need guidance at a suitable height as the lane turns. Their center of gravity and base contact influence stability; a 103 mm belt width does not by itself establish a maximum product envelope or speed.
