S2501 Radius Flush Grid Modular Belt

S2501 uses an open zigzag grid to carry products through a curved conveyor route. Its 60% open area leaves passages beneath the product while the linked rows follow the turn.

Review Support on Both Edges of the Turn

The grid changes position as the belt enters a curve. Check the product base at the inner and outer edges as well as on the straight run.

An Open Zigzag Surface Through the Curve

S2501 carries the product on linked grid members with open spaces between them. The module joints allow adjacent rows to move relative to one another as the carrying path turns.

With 60% open area, the product depends on the remaining grid for support. Base shape therefore matters as much as overall size. Narrow feet and flexible undersides need a contact check at the tightest part of the curve.

Check the Actual Curve Envelope

Provide the inner-edge radius and carrying width, with the turn angle and straight lengths. Check the module movement against the guide and support arrangement throughout the bend.

Compare the installed drive and return with the module drawing. At the curve exit, review guide position and receiving height so the product remains supported as the route straightens.

Drain While Following a Curved Route

Liquid can pass through the open surface on a draining conveyor. For airflow beneath a product, the support structure must leave a clear path below the grid. Product coverage affects how much of that path remains available.

During a turn, product orientation can change relative to the grid. Check small feet and projecting edges at entry, mid-curve and exit. The open percentage alone does not establish stable support for every product.
