Removable Conveyor Hinges
The 705 and 706 hinges combine a panel pivot with separable hinge leaves. Their reinforced-polyamide bodies allow an opening panel to be detached at the hinge connection when the mounting arrangement permits removal.

Reserve Space for Panel Removal
Check the direction in which the leaves separate and the free space needed to withdraw the panel.
Open the Panel or Remove It for Access
An assembled removable hinge lets a panel swing about its pivot. Separating the leaves provides another way to clear the opening when a swung panel would obstruct maintenance access. The frame and panel fixings can remain in place during separation.
Codes 705 and 706 have different leaf footprints and fixing patterns. The mounting orientation must allow the hinges on the same panel to separate in a coordinated direction. Panel weight and the method of supporting it during removal also affect the arrangement.

Check the Opening Path and Separation Path
Use the individual drawing to compare fixing centres, leaf thickness and the pivot location with the frame. Check the panel edge gap in the closed position and the clearance during opening.
Then check removal separately. Nearby rails, guards or cables must allow the required withdrawal movement. Where the panel has more than one hinge, align the axes and confirm that the assembled orientation gives the intended retention and release behaviour.
Clear a Conveyor Service Opening
A removable cover can give maintenance staff an unobstructed route to a drive, return section or frame interior. The hinge supports normal opening; detachment allows the cover to be moved away when more space is required.
The machine design should account for handling the loose panel and securing it after reassembly. Evaluate any guarding and interlock needs for the complete access opening.

Select a Removable Hinge
Send code 705 or 706, quantity and the panel mounting drawing. Include panel weight and the intended removal direction so CSTRANS can review the arrangement.
