Fixed Conveyor Hinges
These reinforced-polyamide hinges provide a retained pivot between a conveyor frame and an opening panel. Four variants, codes 701–704, offer different leaf and fixing-hole layouts.

Align the Pivot and Fixing Holes
Check the mounting pattern on both leaves and the space needed for the panel to swing past the frame.
Keep an Opening Panel Attached
The hinge leaves fasten to the stationary frame and moving panel. Their central pivot allows the panel to open while the hinge remains assembled. This construction suits a panel that should stay attached during routine access.
The four variants have different footprints and hole arrangements. A larger nominal variant does not establish a load rating. Panel weight, centre of gravity and the distance between hinges must be checked as part of the complete mounting design.

Check Both Mounting Faces
Compare hole centres, fixing-hole shape and screw-head clearance with the panel and frame. The pivot position sets the panel's opening path, so check the edge gap as well as the closed position.
Where several hinges share a panel, align their pivot axes. Review hinge spacing against panel weight and any force applied while opening. Confirm the required travel before choosing the hinge; use a separate stop where the panel design requires one.
Access Covers Along a Conveyor
A hinged cover can provide access to a conveyor frame while remaining attached when opened. The mounting position determines whether the cover clears nearby legs, cable routes and adjacent equipment.
For a long cover, support and hinge spacing matter as much as the individual hinge shape. Check how the cover is held when open and how it closes against the frame. Any guarding or interlock requirement belongs to the complete machine design.

Match a Fixed Hinge to Your Panel
Send the preferred code, required quantity and mounting drawing. Include panel dimensions, weight and the intended opening direction so CSTRANS can review the hinge selection.
