Keep the Material Reference with the Profile
Specify CR50 explicitly when comparing a replacement. Similar strip outlines can carry different material designations.
PE Support Along the Moving Chain
The wear strip provides the stationary surface over which the chain travels. Its seating sets the chain's local running position, so a replacement needs to match the support section as well as the CR50 material reference.
For a worn installation, compare a sound section with the worn area before measuring. Wear can alter the apparent thickness and make a direct copy of the damaged profile unsuitable for identifying the original strip.

Measure an Unworn Section
Show the cross-section, retaining features and contact face of the existing strip. Check the available seating width and how the strip is fixed at the beam ends. Establish the required lengths and joint locations from the conveyor layout.
At an entry or section joint, keep the chain's path free of protruding ends. Review temperature and the available expansion space when planning the replacement fit.
Renew a Chain's Stationary Running Surface
On a supported conveyor run, the strip receives the sliding contact from the moving chain. Renewal can be considered when inspection shows wear or damage at that contact surface. The beam beneath it must still provide an even seat.
Check for concentrated wear near joints or changes in direction. Those locations may reveal alignment or support issues that fitting another strip alone would leave unresolved.

Identify Your CR50 Replacement
Send an unworn section drawing or close photograph, required lengths and quantity. Add the chain and beam references so CSTRANS can compare the strip fit.
