5086 Flush Grid Plastic Modular Belt
5086 is a PP grid belt with long, narrow openings through the carrying face. Connected rows provide a straight carrying path with passages beneath the product.
- Open Area
- 22.5%
- Materials
- PP belt and pins
- Backflex Radius
- 51 mm / 2.008 in
Check the Direction of Small Base Features
The grid has elongated openings. Compare product feet and edges with their direction as well as their spacing.
Long Openings Between Supporting Ribs
The 5086 grid supports the product along narrow ribs. Air or liquid can pass between them where the conveyor structure leaves a clear path. The elongated openings make product orientation a useful part of the support check.
Both the belt and connecting pins are PP. Select the assembly for the operating temperature and product contact conditions. The grid geometry and belt mass do not establish an allowable conveying load.

N is an integer assembly increment. Agree the required finished width and module arrangement for the conveyor.
Place Supports Beneath the Carrying Grid
Compare wear-strip positions with the ribs and openings. The supports need to carry the product load while leaving the required drainage or airflow route.
Carry Products Along an Open Straight Run
On a draining conveyor, the elongated slots let liquid leave the top surface. Collection below the run should keep the drainage path clear of the belt's moving parts.
Thin tabs or narrow feet can follow the slots if a product rotates during loading. Broad bases bridge more ribs. Assess the actual base features before using the belt for a mixed product range.

Specify a 5086 Grid-Belt Assembly
Send finished belt width, length and quantity with the smallest product-base dimensions. Include the existing drive reference and whether drainage or airflow is needed beneath the product.
