5082A Flat Top Plastic Modular Belt
5082A uses closed flat-top modules in the OPB family. The top supports product bases across broad faces, while the underside geometry establishes the belt's drive and carrying-support fit.

Match the Underside as Well as the Top
A closed carrying face does not identify the drive geometry. Compare the OPB module underside with the installed sprockets before ordering.
Closed Support on an OPB Module Body
5082A places a flat product-contact face over its ribbed module body. Broad bases remain supported by the closed panels as successive hinge rows pass beneath them.
The module drawing includes the underside because support and drive contact occur below the carrying face. Retain the full 5082A reference when comparing a replacement with a visually similar flat-top belt.

N and n are integer assembly increments. Listed widths are nominal; agree finished width and side clearance for the chosen material.
Compare Rib Support and Sprocket Engagement
Check where the underside rests on the carrying tracks and how the sprocket teeth engage the module. A replacement must suit those contact positions throughout articulation.
Carry Products That Need a Closed Face
The closed surface supports flat-bottomed products between processing or packing stations. It also gives small base features a continuous panel to contact between hinge rows.
Where products wait at a stop, sliding contact affects material selection. Assess the base material and accumulation duty together. Liquid on a closed top needs a drainage route around the carrying surface rather than through a grid.

Match a 5082A Belt to Your Conveyor
Send finished width, assembled length and quantity with the existing sprocket reference. Add an underside photograph and the product's base dimensions for the support and transfer review.
