Assess Grip With the Actual Product
Dry, wet and contaminated product bases behave differently on rubber. Check the required holding and release behavior under the intended line conditions.

Put Rubber at the Product Contact
The 2720F carrying face combines textured rubber areas with the joints of a modular plastic belt. Contact occurs across those different surface areas as a product moves along the run.
This construction calls for attention to both grip and release. A surface selected to hold a product during travel can also resist sliding at a guide or discharge. Assess the actual product base and motion before choosing the arrangement.

N and n are integer assembly increments. Confirm finished width and the rubber-contact surface's suitability for process temperature and cleaning conditions.
Allow Clearance for the Contact Face
Compare the rubber-top profile with the return supports and fixed guides. Components that bear on the carrying face must suit the surface rather than pressing or rubbing against it unintentionally.
Hold the Product During Controlled Travel
Rubber-top contact is relevant where movement between product and belt affects positioning. Product weight, base material and moisture influence the contact behavior; a fixed friction coefficient cannot be assumed from the surface name.
Where a guide redirects a product, the carrying face and guide act together. Check that grip does not prevent the intended release or cause the product to rotate abruptly as it reaches the next conveyor.

Specify Your 2720F Contact Conditions
Send belt width, length and quantity with the product-base material and intended movement. Include wet or dry conditions, process temperature and whether the product must slide at discharge.
