2720/5083/5712/5713 Finger Transfer Plate

CSTRANS supplies finger transfer plates for raised-rib modular belts. The fingers enter the spaces between the belt ribs to support products as they leave the moving belt.

Support Across the Discharge

The rib and finger profiles must align without contact as the belt turns away beneath the plate.

Fingers That Reach Between Raised Ribs

A raised-rib belt carries the product above the belt body. At discharge, stationary fingers extend between those ribs. As the belt bends downward, the fingers continue supporting the product toward the receiving surface.

The plate must belong to the correct belt profile. The 2720, 5712 and 5713 versions have different finger counts. The 5083 option also requires its own rib-spacing check before selection.

The 2720T plate is listed in POM or PP. For a 5083 raised-rib belt, select the plate from the rib-profile drawing. Finger count identifies the comb pattern; finished width and mounting geometry must also match the conveyor.

Align the Comb With the Moving Belt

Check rib spacing and finger insertion depth at the discharge position. Allow clearance as the belt wraps around its end sprockets. The plate support must hold the transfer surface at the product carrying height.

The receiving height and the product's smallest base dimension determine support beyond the fingers. Thin or irregular bases need particular attention at the finger tips.

Transfer From a Ribbed Surface

Use this plate where products leave a raised-rib conveyor for a stationary surface or the next conveyor. The fingers bridge the spaces between the ribs while the belt returns below.

A tray or package crosses the finger tips before reaching the next support. Gaps, height steps and travel direction affect the handoff. Check the smallest product as well as the largest when setting the discharge position.
