Order the Width With Drive Positioning in Mind
Select the assembled width before ordering; cutting the belt narrower is not recommended because of sprocket positioning.
Choose the Width Before the Drive Layout
The 2541A closed face supports the product across linked plastic module rows. The 6 mm pin construction and module underside need to match the drive engagement of the selected assembly.
Standard nominal widths progress in 76.2 mm increments. Choose the required width with the sprocket positions established. Cutting a finished belt narrower can affect that positioning, so agree the assembly dimension rather than planning an on-site trim.

Confirm the finished width after material shrinkage and the chosen belt-and-pin combination.
Align the Belt and Sprockets Across the Shaft
Provide the sprocket reference and positions across the carrying width. Check the module underside and pin joints against the installed arrangement.
Support Products Across a Closed Carrying Lane
The flat face can support packages or containers on a straight conveyor. Select the lane width for the product arrangement, including any side-by-side loading.
Where a guide or stop holds a product, review sliding contact with the chosen material. The drive positions beneath the lane also need to stay aligned with the module construction throughout the required carrying width.

Specify a 2541A Assembly Width
Send nominal and finished width, assembled length and quantity with the sprocket layout. Include the product-loading pattern and operating temperature for a configuration review.
