2540C Raised Rib Modular Belt
CSTRANS supplies the 2540C raised rib modular belt with parallel ribs above an open module body. The raised ribs support the product while the openings allow flow through the belt.

Match the Ribs at the Transfer
A finger transfer needs the correct rib spacing and clearance through the belt's end movement.
Carry the Product Above the Module Body
The 2540C ribs raise the product contact surface above the connected grid structure. A product base rests across the ribs while air and liquid can pass through the open body beneath it.
At a finger transfer, stationary fingers can extend between the ribs as the belt turns away. That arrangement requires a matched comb profile and a review of the product base. Ribbed construction alone does not establish that a particular transfer plate will fit.

Specify the finished carrying width and confirm the rib arrangement at the discharge.
Coordinate Rib Height and Product Handoff
Check the product contact points across the ribs. At discharge, compare the finger profile and insertion position with the belt as it moves around its end sprockets.
Allow for the 30 mm backflex radius on the return. Show the support bed and the height of the receiving surface so the product can pass from rib support onto the next section.
Support Products Through Drainage and Transfer
Raised ribs leave space beneath a supported product for liquid or air. This can be useful where the process requires access beneath the product along a straight carrying section.
The rib arrangement also gives a matched finger plate space to reach beneath the product at discharge. Small feet must span enough ribs before that handoff, while a broad tray needs its receiving height aligned with the rib tops.
