Drive the Wider Chain From Paired Modules
The semi-enclosed family uses side-by-side 85-series modules in the wider drive arrangement. The drive shaft and sprockets engage the selected chain while the supporting plates locate the rotating assembly relative to the beam.
The chain family and version determine the required configuration. Compare the supplied plate and assembly drawings separately; a plate outline alone does not define shaft length, motor mounting or the final envelope of a complete unit.

Dimensions & Fit
Provide the actual chain version, adjoining beam section and required drive side. Show the available shaft-side clearance and the connection to the straight beam.
Confirm the complete assembly dimensions before allocating motor space. Keep the plate drawing separate from the selected shaft and drive-interface specification.
Pull the Chain Into the Return Path
At the driven end, sprockets engage the chain and redirect it from the carrying run toward the return. The beam-to-drive transition needs to maintain support and clearance at that change in path.
For a wide chain, check engagement across the selected assembly. Product discharge position and the space above the return also need to suit the adjoining conveyor.
