1271 Flush Grid Modular Belt
CSTRANS supplies the 1271 flush grid modular belt in POM or PP. Its 18% open area provides through-flow beneath the product, with nominal widths built around a 50 mm increment.

Size the Carrying Lane Around the Product
Choose a width that supports the product base and leaves clearance at the conveyor sides.
Modular Width Selection for an Open Carrying Lane
The 1271 belt joins grid modules into a continuous carrying surface. Grid ribs support the product and leave openings beneath it. Compare tray runners and small leading edges with those openings when choosing the belt.
The 50 mm standard width step provides several lane sizes. The nonstandard formula adds 16.66 mm increments to the base selection. Confirm the assembled dimension after material shrinkage, especially where guides restrict clearance.

N is a positive integer; n is a nonnegative integer. Agree the finished width for installation.
Check the Lane and Conveyor Ends
Provide the clear frame width and the required product lane. Check pin-end clearance and guide positions with the assembled belt.
Review the drive sprocket profile and route around the conveyor ends. A compact transfer needs its own end-support check; module pitch does not define the smallest permissible transfer nose. Show the return path where the belt bends backward.
Carry Supported Products Through a Flow Process
The flush grid can carry trays or packages along a straight section while allowing liquid or air through its openings. The bed and collection space beneath the belt affect whether flow can continue through the conveyor.
The 50 mm width increment helps lay out adjacent carrying lanes. At loading and discharge, keep the product base over the supporting ribs. A base that bridges the grid on the carrying run may still need a closer transfer gap at the end.
