103 Wheel Bend
The 103 wheel bend turns a flexible-chain route around a plastic wheel assembly. It belongs to the 103 chain family and needs to be matched to the adjoining conveyor beam.

Specify the radius reference and turn angle on the layout. The wheel diameter and chain-path radius describe different features.
Turn the Chain Around a Wheel Assembly
A wheel bend uses a rotating disk at the inside of the chain path. The disk, supporting bracket and adjoining curved beam establish the route through the turn. The wheel's shaft position is therefore part of the layout, not simply a mounting detail.
For the 103 family, compare the chain engagement and beam ends as an assembly. A replacement disk that resembles the original may still place the chain path differently if its running geometry or shaft position changes.

Dimensions & Fit
Show the turn angle, chain path and tangent positions where the straight beams meet the bend. Mark whether a radius refers to the wheel, chain centreline or product path.
Route a Conveyor Around Equipment
A wheel bend redirects the chain while products remain supported on the conveying surface. The product can project beyond the chain edge, so the available floor-space envelope must include the pack corners and side guides.
At the exit, align the straight beam with the tangent of the bend. A mismatch at this point changes how the chain enters the next supported section.
