013A / 013B Adjustable Handles with Threaded Studs

These adjustable handles carry a threaded stud for fastening into a tapped component or mating nut. The 013A covers M4–M6 threads; the larger 013B covers M8 and M10.

Match Stud Reach to the Clamped Stack

Allow for the bracket, washer and required thread engagement when selecting the projecting stud.

Tighten Through a Slot or into a Tapped Part

The stud passes through the clamped part and engages the receiving thread. Turning the lever draws the faces together. The lever can be repositioned where a nearby frame member limits the turning arc.

The 013A and 013B use different lever envelopes as well as different thread sizes. Choose the thread for the mating part, then check stud reach and hand clearance. Handle size alone does not establish a permissible tightening torque.

Avoid Bottoming the Stud

Measure the thickness between the handle's seating face and the receiving thread. Establish the required engagement and available tapped depth. The stud must clamp the assembly before it reaches the bottom of a blind hole.

Check access across the bracket's complete travel. Leave room to reposition the lever without contacting the conveyed product or a neighbouring adjustment.

Repeated Manual Setting of Conveyor Hardware

A studded handle can secure a slotted guide bracket or another manually positioned component. The external thread reaches through the slot, so the selected stud must accommodate the clamped stack at every adjustment position.

Where adjustments sit close together, the final lever orientation affects operator access. Plan the handle locations so one setting can be released without disturbing the adjacent bracket.
