F54 Case Conveyor Chain
F54 provides a 54 mm carrying surface on compact articulated links. Its shaped plate edges support the product across successive links while the chain follows a curved lane.

Check Small Base Features Across the Joints
Narrow feet and carton seams must cross the link pattern without losing support.
Compact Links Beneath the Product Base
The F54 plate edges fit around neighboring links as the chain changes direction. Product support passes from one plate to the next along the narrow carrying lane.
A small carton or carrier needs enough base contact across that pattern. Check the smallest contact feature through the turn, where the relative angle of adjacent links changes the opening beneath it.

The force rating applies at its stated temperature and does not specify the weight that can be carried on the conveyor.
Review the Turn and the End Return
Compare the actual link with the installed support and drive. Use the curve plan to confirm the radius reference and leave clearance for link articulation.
Routing Small Cartons Between Machines
A narrow F54 lane can support a carton along its base while guides maintain the intended route. The carton needs a sufficiently rigid contact area to bridge the link joints.
At a curved infeed, guide position and product spacing affect whether the carton enters squarely. Review the transition onto the receiving conveyor so the same base remains supported as it leaves the turn.
