5712 Modular Belt Sprocket
The 5712 sprocket uses reinforced PA in an injection-moulded construction. Four tooth counts are listed in the shared 5711/5712/5713 family, with model-specific round and square shaft options.

Position the Set Beneath the Belt's Drive Features
Check the required sprocket positions across the belt and the locating arrangement on the shaft.
Match the Drive Set Across the Belt Width
The sprocket teeth contact the belt's underside drive features. On a shaft carrying several sprockets, their positions must agree with those features across the belt width. Confirm the belt reference and the intended location of the set before choosing the shaft fit.
The 5712 selection uses the shared family table below. Each tooth count has its own diameter and bore options. A square opening and a round bore require different shaft arrangements, so keep the opening shape with the specified size.

Check Shaft Openings and Axial Location
Select the tooth count against the conveyor-end envelope, then match the listed opening to the shaft section. Show the usable shaft length and how the sprockets are retained or located.
Confirm the belt's drive-feature spacing and the intended position of each sprocket. Check the hub envelope against adjacent shaft parts and the frame. The drawing's hub arrangement needs review with the selected bore configuration.
Support Engagement Across a Modular-Belt Drive
Several sprockets can share a modular belt's drive shaft. Their alignment determines where the teeth engage the belt across its width. The set must be laid out to suit the belt construction and the shaft location.
During renewal, inspect the existing spacing and locating parts before removing the old set. Review the end-frame clearance if the selected tooth count changes the running diameter.

Specify a 5712 Sprocket Set
Send the belt reference, tooth count, shaft-opening shape and size, and quantity. Include sprocket positions across the shaft and the existing locating arrangement.
