W21 Conveyor Wear Strip
W21 has a flat central section with an upward return at one edge and a downward return at the other. This offset profile needs to be matched to the support and the intended running face.

Check Which Edge Faces Up
Compare the installed orientation with the cross-section before measuring the seat or ordering replacement lengths.
Locate the Running Face with the Edge Returns
The W21 section is asymmetric. Its two edge returns occupy different sides of the central strip, so reversing it changes the relationship between the running face and the support. Check that relationship on the installed assembly.
The flat centre provides a contact face along the strip. The surrounding structure must support and retain the profile without pushing an edge into the moving chain's path. Identify the actual seat before selecting the length.

Compare the Complete Section
Measure the central span, thickness and each edge return from an unworn sample. Show the mating support in the same orientation. Check contact height and clearance to the raised edge along the route.
Sliding Support with an Offset Edge Arrangement
W21 can be considered where the conveyor support requires this opposing-return section. The offset edges affect how the profile sits beside the moving component, particularly at an entry or strip joint.
During replacement, inspect the support for damage and compare the unworn outline. A distorted edge can change the contact position even when the central face still appears serviceable.

Match the W21 Section
Send an oriented section drawing or sample photograph, required lengths and quantity. Include the mating support and identify the face contacted by the chain.
