5082C Open-Hole Plastic Modular Belt
5082C uses large openings through its OPB carrying panels. Its 36% open area provides through-belt flow while the remaining frame supports the product base.

Check the Largest Opening Against the Smallest Item
A percentage describes total open area. The actual opening shape determines whether small products or projecting base features can enter the belt.
Larger Openings Within a Supporting Frame
5082C leaves large apertures through each carrying panel. The surrounding frame and hinge rows form the product-contact areas. This arrangement gives a different support pattern from the finer grid of 5082B.
The belt's 9 kg/m² mass and 36% open area describe this configuration. They do not establish how much product load can be carried. Product contact, support-track placement and operating conditions must be considered together.

N and n are integer assembly increments. Confirm finished width and material before setting guide clearance.
Support the Frame Around the Openings
Check the contact footprint on the actual module drawing. A broad product may bridge an opening, while a soft pack can sag into the same space. Evaluate the least-supported product orientation.
Provide Flow Beneath Broad-Based Products
The open panels allow air or liquid to pass beneath products that bridge the supporting frame. The process layout must leave that passage clear below the belt.
Large openings also create a containment constraint. Loose small items and narrow projections can enter the gaps. Assess the actual product form before using this surface on a draining or ventilated conveyor section.
