Check the Ribbed Handoff

Where a finger transfer supports the product at discharge, compare its outline with the actual rib arrangement and moving clearances.

Support the Product Above an Open Body

The 5712 ribbed carrying face gives the product a series of contact lines. Its open body permits drainage or airflow below the base. Product shape determines how many ribs carry it and how support changes at discharge.

PP and stainless-steel pin options are listed for the PP belt body. The pin and module arrangement must be reviewed together. A visually similar ribbed surface can have a different underside and return requirement.

Match Rib Spacing to the Receiving Support

Compare the product footprint with the rib tops. If a transfer plate reaches between ribs, check its finger clearance through the belt's movement at the end turn.

The return route must accommodate the 70 mm backflex radius and the projecting carrying profile. Check local clearances at supports and cross-members without treating the reverse-bend value as a rib height.

Transfer Supported Products From a Ribbed Surface

A ribbed discharge can be paired with a reviewed finger arrangement so support passes between the belt and the receiving surface. Alignment is critical where a narrow product foot approaches the finger gaps.

During a wet process, liquid can leave the product-contact region through the grid. The supporting structure below must carry the belt while keeping the intended drainage path available.
