5082V Vacuum Top Modular Belt
5082V uses groups of holes through its OPB panels to provide a through-belt suction path. The perforated top supports the product over a vacuum track beneath the carrying run.

Align Suction With Product Coverage
Vacuum holding depends on the holes covered by the product and the leakage around its base. The perforated belt needs a matched suction arrangement.
Put a Suction Path Through the Panel
The 5082V carrying face combines broad panel areas with grouped perforations. Those holes connect the region beneath a product to the vacuum track. The panel around the holes supports the base during travel.
A vacuum belt does not generate suction by itself. Track opening, sealing contact and product coverage determine how the available vacuum acts on the product. Exposed holes outside the footprint contribute leakage.

N and n are integer assembly increments. Confirm finished width and the perforation position relative to the suction track.
Check the Sealing and Supporting Areas
Overlay the product footprint on the perforation pattern. Check which holes remain covered during acceleration, positioning and release. The support beneath the belt must leave the intended suction path open.
Retain Position Over a Suction Zone
Vacuum conveying can hold a suitable product base against the moving panel. A porous or uneven underside may leak through or around the contact region, so its behavior differs from a broad sealed base.
At a handoff, release timing depends on the end of the suction zone as well as the belt geometry. The receiving support should take over before the product loses the contact needed for controlled movement.
