1902 Flat Top Modular Belt

CSTRANS supplies the 1902 flat top modular belt with a closed carrying face. Standard nominal widths progress in 304.8 mm steps, with POM or PP modules and selected connecting pins.

Include Belt Mass in Drive Review

The assembled belt adds moving mass before the conveyed product is loaded.

Closed Carrying Width in Larger Standard Steps

The 1902 belt assembles flat-top rows into a closed product-supporting surface. Its nominal standard width step is 304.8 mm. That step is useful when laying out a broad carrying lane and checking available frame space.

The 13.5 kg/m² belt mass affects the total moving load. Review it with assembled belt length and width, product load and operating speed when checking the drive duty. The closed face does not establish the permissible conveyed load.

Review Support Across the Full Width

Show the carrying support positions and sprocket locations across the shaft. Compare the underside of the replacement with the installed drive geometry.

Check backward bends against the 25 mm radius. At discharge, review how the product footprint crosses onto the receiving surface; a broad belt can still carry a short product that needs a close handoff.

Support Products Across a Broad Carrying Lane

The closed face can support packages or trays moving across a straight conveyor section. Width selection should reflect the product arrangement, including multiple items carried side by side.

The support bed must carry the loaded belt across that width. Where products accumulate unevenly, assess the actual loading pattern as well as total mass. A wide surface alone does not define the support or drive capacity.
