1273 Flat Top Modular Belt
CSTRANS supplies the 1273 flat top modular belt for straight carrying runs. The closed top carries products across linked rows, with a 10 mm backflex radius for return-path planning.

Review Both Sides of the Belt
A replacement must match the underside drive geometry as well as the visible carrying surface.
A Closed Face With Articulating Joints
The 1273 top supports the product over a solid plastic carrying face. Connected rows bend around the conveyor ends while the product follows the straight carrying run. This separates the support surface from the articulation needed at the drive and return.
The belt mass is 9 kg/m². Include the belt's own moving mass when reviewing the drive duty together with the product load. The 10 mm backflex radius describes backward bending and needs checking wherever the return arrangement reverses the belt's curvature.

Agree the finished belt width after allowing for material shrinkage.
Match the Joint and Drive Geometry
Use a top and underside photograph when identifying an existing belt. Compare module connections, sprocket engagement and side clearance before selecting the replacement.
Select the assembled width from the nominal options above and agree the finished dimension before ordering. Width cutting is not recommended because of the belt's sprocket-positioning constraints.
Keep the drawing's joint-radius callout separate from the backflex specification. Check end-shaft positions and the receiving conveyor height with the actual product, particularly if its base can tip as support passes between conveyors.
Keep a Flat Base Supported Along the Line
On a straight packaging or container conveyor, the closed face supports products that rest on small feet or a narrow rim. The flat surface also lets the product base span several connected rows.
Support changes at the end as those rows turn away. A short or tall product may react differently to the same gap, so evaluate its footprint and center of gravity at the handoff. The conveying surface and discharge geometry work together.

Identify Your 1273 Replacement
Send the carrying width, assembled length and quantity with top and underside photographs of the existing belt. Include the sprocket reference and discharge layout for a closer fit comparison.
