1500A Flat Top Modular Belt
CSTRANS supplies the 1500A flat top modular belt with a closed carrying face and pinned plastic modules. Its nominal width progresses in 85 mm steps for straight conveyor lanes.
- Carrying Surface
- Flat top, 0% open area
- Pin Diameter
- 5 mm
- Backflex Radius
- 16 mm
Keep the Base Supported at Discharge
The closed top supports the product along the run; the conveyor end and receiving gap determine the handoff.
Flat Support Across the Moving Rows
The 1500A carrying face has no designed open area. Products rest on the flat module tops as successive rows move through the conveyor. The joints provide the articulation needed to return the belt beneath the carrying run.
The nominal width options share an 85 mm increment. Select the required finished width with side clearance in mind, because the assembled belt can shrink below its nominal dimension. POM and PP base materials are available with separately selected pin materials.

N is a positive integer. Agree the finished width and selected material combination before ordering.
Check the End Arrangement With the Product Base
Specify the finished width when ordering, with room for the belt edges inside the guides. For the 1500 belt family, cutting to width is not recommended because of the sprocket-positioning constraints.
Compare the underside engagement with the drive sprocket and check pin-end clearance at the guides. Show the return bends where the belt must backflex.
Review the end support and receiving height using the product's contact footprint. A small container base can lose support before a broad tray on the same transfer.
Straight Conveying Between Packaging Stages
The closed face supports packages or containers between process stations. Small feet and bottom rims can rest across the flat module surfaces rather than spanning an open grid.
Where a downstream machine stops products, assess how the selected plastic surface slides under their bases. Check accumulation separately from free conveying; the same package can behave differently when held at a stop.

Specify a 1500A Carrying Belt
Send the required width, assembled length and quantity with the existing sprocket reference. Include the product footprint and any accumulation or discharge positions for configuration review.
